Projects

The aim of GINOP-3.1.1-VEKOP-15-2016-00001 “Program your future!” is to encourage as many future young graduates as possible to start their careers in the IT sector, which is becoming increasingly important from the perspective of the national economy.

The main tasks of the project are to enhance the labour supply, to develop higher education IT competencies and training, and to ensure that the training system provides marketable knowledge that meets the needs of economic actors.

The project aims to introduce university students to the technologies used by ICT businesses.

The technological changes that took place during the 20th century have now made digitalisation the most important role in production, economy and society in general.
Therefore, the development of infocommunication technology in the education system is essential nowadays. The aim is primarily to reform the traditional education system, which will bring a new approach to education, methodology and requirements. Education needs to prepare students for the challenges of the digital age to be competitive in the job market.

The main goal of the project is to develop a comprehensive capability that provides the public administration, different administrative systems and the private sector with relevant, detailed, easily accessible and up-to-date earth observation data. The implemented system operates in an unified and integrated value-added information service. It  provides free and commercial earth observation data-based services to professional governmental institutions, to the economy and society according to the data reporting enquiries. In order to achieve  all these objectives, the project is responsible for creating the mandatory legal background by performing standardization and process control tasks.

Records and procedures in the grape and wine sector are largely paper-based. In line with domestic and EU expectations, the simplification and electronic redirection of the administrative system is key to the efficient operation of the sector, as a result of which official controls and the efficiency of sector management can be increased. In this way, the costly administrative burden on the sector can be reduced for both service providers and service users.

The aim of the development is to create a database from which data and information can be extracted that will allow informed decisions to be made to improve local public services.

As a result of the project, a unified, constantly updated, nationwide, GIS-based electronic communications register will be created as part of the Superfast Internet Program (SZIP), taking into account the mapping of network infrastructure and the results of the electronic public utility register to provide supervisory support for the implementation of tenders, as well as electronic support for related regulatory processes.

The aim of the INPUT Program is to contribute to the development of the Hungarian ICT startup ecosystem through its complex service portfolio, expert colleagues and wide network of domestic and international contacts, to encourage the launch of new innovative enterprises, and to promote their successful participation in foreign markets. Our services are based on feedback from the startup ecosystem, so everyone – from idea to growth phase – can find the right service for them. Be it training, mentoring, expert or business development consulting, participation in international events.

According to the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the National Reform Program, the Partnership Agreement and the Public Administration and Public Service Development Strategy, Hungary’s priority is to improve the efficiency of public administration and public services and to establish and provide a customer- and service-oriented state operation. The objectives of the project:
1) Increase administration’s efficiency by reducing administrative burdens
2) Increase the effectiveness of official consumer protection authority procedures
3) Raise consumer and business awareness

The aim of the development is to expand the municipal ASP service system nationwide, to provide central support for municipal connections, to develop and introduce electronic public administration services, to expand and further develop professional systems, and to implement a data warehouse based on ASP professional systems as data sources.

The aim of the development is to expand the municipal ASP service system nationwide, to provide central support for municipal connections, to develop and introduce electronic public administration services, to expand and further develop professional systems, and to implement a data warehouse based on ASP professional systems as data sources.

The aim is to establish and operate a human resources network of supervisory engineers to ensure the professionalism, expected quality and compliance with the legal requirements of the networks to be built within the framework of SZIP.
In the KKP project, in connection with the broadband tenders announced within the framework of SZIP, but as an independent activity, the supervising engineers (FEM) acting on behalf of the state review the design and construction works regarding the technical characteristics, procedures and implementation of the development investment.

The high proportion of people without basic digital skills is a barrier to growth and employment at the level of the national economy, a source of serious social tensions and a cause of the recurrence of social inequalities. The rejection of modern technology is mainly of cognitive origin and is most common in rural, low-status and educated adults aged 45-70. The project aims to change the attitude of the target group and encourage them to use digital tools.

This project provides individuals without digital skills access to IT tools in the convergence regions by providing the resources (infrastructure, ICT skills development, service expansion) necessary for the more active and wider involvement of the social Internet access points (Digital Welfare Program Points – DJP Points). The local Digital Welfare Program Mentors (DJP Mentors) provide the appropriate expertise.

The Digital Infrastructure Pillar of the Digital Agenda of the European Union and the Government Decision on Hungary’s National Infocommunication Strategy aims to ensure that all households have access to at least 30 Mbps internet access by 2020, and that at least 50% of households have available access to 100 Mbps internet. In its government decision on the Digital Nation Development Program (DNFP), the Hungarian government declared that Hungary will meet these expectations by the end of 2018.

As an objective of the National Infocommunication Strategy, in accordance with the Digital Agenda of the European Union, the Government has undertaken to provide the accessibility of at least 30 Mbps internet for all households by 2020 and 100 Mbps access for at least 50% of households. Under the policy guidance of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, the establishment of the Superfast Internet Program (SZIP) took place in 2014 at KIFÜ for the operational implementation of the goals, with 1486/2015. (VII. 21.) Government Decree.

Following the decision of the Government of Hungary in 2016 (Government Decree 1605/2016 (XI. 8.)), nearly 10 billion HUF will be spenton the IT development of the National Széchényi Library (NSZL). The main goal of the project called the National Library System is to stabilize and develop the IT system of the NSZL. The development plan includes the renewal of the IT support of the current library professional processes, the launch of certain key content service tasks, the expansion of the library’s digitization capacity, the renewal of the infrastructure related to developments and the implementation of daily operation tasks.

The EFOP-3.2.4 flagship project “Development of Digital Competences” aims to provide full Wi-Fi coverage of schools in the convergence region by the first half of 2019.
The project is being implemented by a consortium of the Klebelsberg Centre and KIFÜ, with a division of tasks according to which the construction of the Wi-Fi networks is the responsibility of KIFÜ.
During the implementation of the project, a modern and unified wireless network infrastructure will be built in the educational institutions, which will provide the high-quality Wi-Fi access.

The aim of the project is to build a WiFi network in the public education institutions of the Central Hungarian region, to support the realization of educational-strategic goals. WiFi coverage is primarily provided in classrooms, specialist classrooms and libraries. Within the framework of the project, we assess the available infrastructural background in the affected institutions and develop a unified equipment and operational system.
We contracted Antenna Hungária Zrt. to perform the construction tasks, which started the inspection of schools in December 2017.

The overall goal of the project is to increase the digital competences of the population, which is essential for employment, thereby providing a skilled workforce for the economy, increasing the competitiveness of the economy while growing the number of employees.

KIFÜ addresses the procurement of the infocommunication equipment necessary for the implementation of the program. The program is implemented by: Helping Hands for Active Years Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd.
